Rental information for E-Bikes

Required documents

The renter must present a valid identity card or passport while handing over of the E-Bike.

Minimum age for renting an E-Bike

The minimum age is 18 years. If the renter is under an age of 18 years, the legal representative and/or educate-entitled is responsible and becomes a renter.

Accepted Credit Cards
Master-, Maestro or Visacard

Prepaid and debit cards, e.g. VISA Electron, will not be accepted. The card must be in the name of the renter, and has to be presented at the time of the vehicle collection and it must be valid at this time. The amount charged to the card includes the rental fee as well as all additional extras and charges.

A deposit with the amount of 100,-Euro will be blocked on the card.

Direct booking tariff

When booking a "direct booking tariff", the payment will be charged with the total rental price (incl. booked extras and charges) prior to the rental. The renter and mode of payment shall be finalised at the time of reservation and cannot be changed. A refund shall not be issued for non-collection, vehicle being collected late or returned early.

A cancellation is possible before the beginning of the rental period. This must be done in written form by the renter. The date of receipt is decisive. In the case of a cancellation the following fees will be charged on the already paid pre-payment (amount of the rent including the booked extras and fees):

Tariff “payment on site”

When booking a "payment on site tariff" the payment of the rental amount incl. booked extras will be charged upon arrival on site. A booking can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) via our hotline or online.

Liability conditions

The renter drives at his or her own risk. The renting company assumes no liability for damage to property or personal injury to the renter himself or in general to third persons or through improper use of the rented item. The renter undertakes to use the E-bike properly and carefully. The E-bike must always be locked to fixed objects, even during short periods while leaving the E-bike. The renter is fully responsible for all damages resulting from neglect or improper use of the E-bike. The renter is liable for the repair costs in case of accidental damages or improper handling of the E-bike. The renter is liable for the replacement value in case of total damage, loss or theft of the E-bike.

Equipment

Bicycle helmets, bicycle locks, charger, detachable bicycle lamps and air pump are provided free of charge.

Replacement batteries will be provided upon prior request and a fee will be charged.

Vehicle handover

The vehicle handover is exclusively at our location in Los Llanos.

We’ll bring the E-Bike free of charge to the accommodation in the Aridane Valley for rental periods of more than one week!
